The strength of your marriage depends far more on your beliefs about God than your feelings for each other. If you agree on who God is, what he did, and what he says about you, you need only work out those beliefs to create a truly Christ-glorifying marriage.
So, in terms of having a better marriage, start with God. Know him by knowing his Word, then walk in full light and power his truth.
